Whilst in The Netherlands and France roughly 25 percent of the voters support the PVV (Party for Freedom) or the Front National, opposing the Islamic threat towards Europe, Germany is still manipulated by the main stream media and the Left - Center - Rights government CDU / SPD. But slowly the mood is changing, and it started with non political movements as PEGIDA, a movement for freedom and against the islamisation of Europe, hence not a far right or Nazi motivated group with tenthousands of followers. Small parties as the newly formed ALFA, Die Freihetlichen (from Bavaria) and the AfD (Alternative for Germany) are gaining graound.
The AfD (Alternative for Germany) continues to benefit from the refugee crisis in Germany. Every day an average of 40 people want to become a member of the party, party leader Frauke Petry told the "Welt am Sonntag". The number of members and supporters, was with 19000 already almost as high as before the split in the summer. The party, which was in July, after the elimination of the liberal-conservative wing, only at three per cent, reaches now in recent polls 6 to 7 percent of the votes.
Lets look at the recent mood barometer in Germany:

Now lets look at how the national citizens feel about the refugee crisis:
The majority considers the number of refugees no longer manageable. The image of Merkel is suffering due to the refugee crisis. The social democrates SPD and the Greens are going downhill, whilst the AfD is gaining on its way up.
Integration of refugees:
Opinion is divided amongst Germans, when it comes to the question of willingness to integrate refugees: 44 percent believe that the majority wants to integrate with society, 50 percent think that they do not have this willingness. The majority is skeptical (54 percent) about whether the inclusion will work broadly. Only 39 percent are confident here.
Fears of the Germans:
Closer demands show that 74 percent of the respondents think that there spending will be spending cuts in other national areas due to the refugees. Only 24 per cent do not have these fears.
62 percent expect that crime will increase through a large number of refugees, only 34 percent do not see it that way.
The social and cultural values are threatened by the refugees, that however only a minority of 33 percent thinks so. Nearly two-thirds 61 percent do not see that.
Here we can see where the propaganda and populistic politics of Merkel have worked, in the effort to manipulate people.
(Mainz, 09.10.2015) about two weeks ago 57 percent of Germans believed that the many refugees who are coming into the country can be coped with, and only 40 percent in this regard were skeptical. The majorities yet have changed in the meantime: Now only 45 percent believe that Germany can cope with the large number of refugees, and 51 percent of them no longer (the balance to 100 percent here and hereinafter stated "do not know").
Finally about PEGIDA. The Technikal University Dresden has conducted a study resulting in the following statement:
The "typical" PEGIDA-demonstrator comes from the middle class, is well educated, employed, has a slightly above average Net income, is 48 years old, male, belongs to no denomination hence no religion, has no party allegiance and comes from either Dresden and Saxony.
