Trumps first 100 days plan
One may think of Donald Trump what one likes, but now it is carved into stone; he is and will be the next President of the United States of America.
What stands out are his approaches and stances on the present situation in America. Trump is a business man and not a politician, so he will think, rule and act as one. Politically it can have positive effects, as he is not dealing with politics like a puppet of the elite, a person who uses words to promise and twist realities. Facts will be on the table, just like a company meeting in a conference room.
Below is the 100-day plan Trump's campaign released in October, called "Donald Trump's Contract With The American Voter."
He stated:
"What follows is my 100-day action plan to Make America Great Again. It is a contract between myself and the American voter — and begins with restoring honesty, accountability and change to Washington.
Therefore, on the first day of my term of office, my administration will immediately pursue the following six measures to clean up the corruption and special interest collusion in Washington, DC":
* FIRST, propose a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress;
* SECOND, a hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce federal workforce through attrition (exempting military, public safety, and public health);
* THIRD, a requirement that for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated;
* FOURTH, a 5 year-ban on White House and Congressional officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government service;
* FIFTH, a lifetime ban on White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government;
* SIXTH, a complete ban on foreign lobbyists raising money for American elections.
All above listed points can be declared doable. They need to be passed by legislation. All these points make sure that the overhead of government is not bloated. Limits will ensure no overpower, and the 5 years ban on becoming lobbyists, will ensure that people work with government for the sake of it, and not as a 'jumping board' to become a lobbyist directly after exit. It strengthens commitment and engagement for the cause.
On the same day, I will begin taking the following 7 actions to protect American workers:
* FIRST, I will announce my intention to renegotiate NAFTA or withdraw from the deal under Article 2205
NAFTA is basically not in favour of Mexico. It carries basically 6 negative points, why Trump wants to withdraw, specially in regards to production and farming.
1. It led to the loss of 500,000 - 750,000 jobs in the US. They were mainly manufacturing companies in California, New York, Michigan and Texas. The companies moved to Mexico because labour is cheaper. These industries were motor vehicles, textiles, computers, and electrical appliances.
2. Job migration brought wages down. Sixty-five percent of companies in latter stated industries wanted to move to Mexico. The US workers in those industries were not able to bargain for higher wages. Between 1993 and 1995, 50% of all companies that were moving to Mexico used this threat of closing their factories. 1999, the rate had increased to 65%.
3. NAFTA took many Mexican farmers out of business. Government-subsidized US farm products that were exported to Mexico, leading to Mexican farmers not being able to compete with the artificially low prices.
4. Whilst Mexicans lost their farms, they went to work in sub-standard conditions in the maquiladora program.
5. US companies degraded the Mexican environment to keep costs low.
6. NAFTA allowed Mexican trucks access into the United States. That would have caused dangerous conditions since they are not held up to the same safety standards. Therefore, Congress prohibited this provision.
More about NAFTA:
* SECOND, I will announce our withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership
That is a good and overdue action to be taken. TTIP is basically dead already, as Europe has opposed this deal through its population. TTIP would bring down European standards and favour US companies. Critics of TTIP say that "ISDS provisions undermine the power of national governments to act in the interests of their citizens", that "TTIP could even undermine the democratic authority of local government", and that it threatens democracy.
* THIRD, I will direct my Secretary of the Treasury to label China a currency manipulator.
"China isn’t actually selling dollars, it’s selling dollar denominated assets and using the proceeds to purchase yuan. That doesn’t make much difference, except that it is evidence that China is manipulating the value of the yuan."
"China does this in another manner too: it places severe restrictions on the ability of Chinese citizens to get their money out of China. This prevents capital flight and is another way that the value of the yuan is kept high." Source
* FOURTH, I will direct the Secretary of Commerce and U.S. Trade Representative to identify all foreign trading abuses that unfairly impact American workers and direct them to use every tool under American and international law to end those abuses immediately.
That is a normal cleaning up act when starting in a business. Trump is a business man, so he will act accordingly.
* FIFTH, I will lift the restrictions on the production of $50 trillion dollars' worth of job-producing American energy reserves, including shale, oil, natural gas and clean coal.
This will create jobs locally, and boost the local industry, although it will challenge the climate change or clean environment agenda.
* SIXTH, lift the Obama-Clinton roadblocks and allow vital energy infrastructure projects, like the Keystone Pipeline, to move forward.
The Keystone Pipeline System is an oil pipeline system in Canada and the United States, commissioned in 2010.
"The pipeline would be a job creator, although most of those jobs would be temporary. The State Department environmental review estimated that Keystone would support 42,000 temporary jobs over its two-year construction period — about 3,900 of them in construction, the rest in indirect support jobs, such as food service. It estimated that it would create about 35 permanent jobs." Source
The report estimated that building the pipeline would contribute about $3.4 billion to the American economy.
* SEVENTH, cancel billions in payments to U.N. climate change programs and use the money to fix America's water and environmental infrastructure.
One can view the entire climate change debate also from another side. Its not just about funding and raising taxes for it, but despite people think climate change is true or not, education, implementing laws for the industry to produce climate friendly articles, or set up their factories that way are all steps not costing billions, but a matter of law and upbringing.
We will use the money to instead invest in America’s water and environmental infrastructure, Donald Trump said. “We’re going to fix our own environment.”
“That includes repairing so many of Florida’s problems, including the Herbert Hoover Dike, the Florida aquifer and the Everglades."
“We don’t need to give hundreds of billions of dollars away, we have no idea who’s getting this money,” Trump added. “Giving it to the United Nations, you know what that’s called? Giving it to an open pit.”
Mr. Trump also vowed to lift restrictions on energy production from shale, oil, natural gas and coal, as mentioned above under point 5.
Additionally, on the first day, I will take the following five actions to restore security and the constitutional rule of law:
* FIRST, cancel every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum and order issued by President Obama
Unconstitutional executive actions should always be repealed. In spring of 2012, President Obama issued a list of executive orders to combat what he viewed as hopelessly-deadlocked Congress. One of his arguably unconstitutional executive orders is:
- Reshaped immigration policy by ordering the federal government to halt deportation of certain illegal immigrants.
* SECOND, begin the process of selecting a replacement for Justice Scalia from one of the 20 judges on my list, who will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States
This may be something to question, as replacing judges with people from Trumps 'list' may be in order to favour his path orders as time goes. I would say that this is the most vulnerable position!
* THIRD, cancel all federal funding to Sanctuary Cities
A sanctuary city is a city in the United States or Canada that adopts local policies designed to not prosecute people solely for being an undocumented individual in the country in which they are currently living. The term applies to cities that do not allow municipal funds or resources to be used to enforce national immigration laws, usually by not allowing police or municipal employees to inquire about an individual's immigration status. The designation has no legal meaning, so no longer funding such cities with such practices shouldn't be opposed but supported. It is in the interest of the country.
* FOURTH, begin removing the more than 2 million criminal illegal immigrants from the country and cancel visas to foreign countries that won't take them back.
This is a measure that should be self speaking. It shouldn't be even a practise attached to a certain party or specific government. It has become yet a practise of Leftist government to rather protect illegal immigrants, rather than the local population. The US has one advantage; its one country. Europe with a similar figure, yet has the problem of not being unified on that matter.
* FIFTH, suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered extreme vetting.
This measure to make a careful and critical examination of immigrants is nothing to look upon with astonishment. The main stream politics and media has made it a common term to call such vetting "putting people under general suspension". One can twist it that way yes, but it gives free or easy passage to the ones who want to do harm or abuse and use the welfare system of a country, change it, or maybe on the longer run bring it down.
Next, I will work with Congress to introduce the following broader legislative measures and fight for their passage within the first 100 days of my Administration:
1. Middle Class Tax Relief And Simplification Act. An economic plan designed to grow the economy 4% per year and create at least 25 million new jobs through massive tax reduction and simplification, in combination with trade reform, regulatory relief, and lifting the restrictions on American energy. The largest tax reductions are for the middle class. A middle-class family with 2 children will get a 35% tax cut. The current number of brackets will be reduced from 7 to 3, and tax forms will likewise be greatly simplified. The business rate will be lowered from 35 to 15 percent, and the trillions of dollars of American corporate money overseas can now be brought back at a 10 percent rate.
Strengthening the middle class has always been a positive move. The middle class is formed by a large group in the population, that earn a fairly good income. This income is mainly not transferred outside the country, but is spent locally. These are steady tax payers, generating income tax and giving the government income through VAT and local taxes. It is known that the middle class is not known for placing saving into priority, but rather spending and developing their life in the region they live. A good example for a successful middle class society is Germany and The Netherlands.
Lowering business tax is normally a Liberal stance, and it arose from the idea, that when doing so, business will feel attracted to stay in the country, invest and secure jobs. It is an obscene idea from the Leftists, that the rich companies have to be taxed high, because they can afford. They may can afford yes, but they can also afford to pack their bags, and leave the country at their convenient time. Business goes where it can earn. If a business can't earn, it ceases to exist, either by decision or bankruptcy. Neither of the latter would benefit employment of tax income. Its a simple formula: If you want to encourage people to stay on your soil, you have to find and create means to make it attractive!
2. End The Off-shoring Act. Establishes tariffs to discourage companies from laying off their workers in order to relocate in other countries and ship their products back to the U.S. tax-free.
This may be a well meant measure, but difficult to implement, as businesses can be registered abroad with foreign share holders and investors. Maybe a reward system for companies to stay inside the country would be more effective. Point 1 from above would be of more help to encourage the return of businesses.
3. American Energy & Infrastructure Act. Leverages public-private partnerships, and private investments through tax incentives, to spur $1 trillion in infrastructure investment over 10 years. It is revenue neutral.
This would encourage businesses and rebuild the ramshackled infrastructure. Without offence; but some areas in the US are in conditions we would expect to find in third world countries, and not in a country labelled first world.

4. School Choice And Education Opportunity Act. Redirects education dollars to give parents the right to send their kid to the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school of their choice. Ends common core, brings education supervision to local communities. It expands vocational and technical education, and make 2 and 4-year college more affordable.
One one hand, the choice of school should be a natural fact; the problem lays yet in the 'religious' schools. Out of a secular point of view, religion should not even be a part of the school curriculum; hence kept out of the educational system and dealt with as a private issue. Muslim families or fundamental Christians, may take advantage of such a choice, to make sure their children are 'indoctrinated' accordingly. Home schooling may lead to isolation and a non-social behaviour of the student. This may be another critical point in Trumps agenda.
5. Repeal and Replace Obamacare Act. Fully repeals Obamacare and replaces it with Health Savings Accounts, the ability to purchase health insurance across state lines, and lets states manage Medicaid funds. Reforms will also include cutting the red tape at the FDA: there are over 4,000 drugs awaiting approval, and we especially want to speed the approval of life-saving medications.
The Obamacare Act has often been criticised as a socialist like implement. For example, Europe is well known for the 'health insurance' for all, hence a mandatory health care for all citizens, if employed or not. Only higher income receivers or self employed people have the choice to move to a private insurance with mostly better and higher services. Having the society in its entity insured cannot be generally labelled as bad or even socialist, but maybe the American society with its more capitalist set up has different vies. We can observe that also when it comes to a national ID card.
6. Affordable Childcare and Elder-care Act. Allows Americans to deduct childcare and elder care from their taxes, incentivizes employers to provide on-side childcare services, and creates tax-free Dependent Care Savings Accounts for both young and elderly dependants, with matching contributions for low-income families.
Here we have an example of a 'care system' for children and the elderly. But it is deductible from the tax. The higher the income, the higher the contribution, and the other way round.
7. End Illegal Immigration Act Fully-funds the construction of a wall on our southern border with the full understanding that the country Mexico will be reimbursing the United States for the full cost of such wall; establishes a 2-year mandatory minimum federal prison sentence for illegally re-entering the U.S. after a previous deportation, and a 5-year mandatory minimum for illegally re-entering for those with felony convictions, multiple misdemeanor convictions or two or more prior deportations; also reforms visa rules to enhance penalties for overstaying and to ensure open jobs are offered to American workers first.
Often, the main stream media portray the wall between Mexico and the US as 'another Berlin wall'. This is fundamentally wrong. East and West Germany were artificially separated after WWII, through different regimes. Both Germany de-facto belonged together, through history, family and even natural borders before the war. Any escape from east to west, was not because of wanting to live a better life or benefit from a better system, but because of the drive to bring together what belonged together. Nobody from the former GDR had to apply for a Visa or needed to be granted asylum in West Germany. Once their, they were considered as German and entitled to its nationality.
Mexican people are not citizens of the US; they come to improve their living standard, hence economical migrants. Immigration is needed and important nowadays, but it should be controlled and through the legal channel. Qualification matching the needs of the country receiving immigrants will never for a problem. The reason for illegal migration does not match the capacity and need of the receiving country. This is what we can alarmingly observe in Europe. If a country is in need of 10000 nurses, they will be highly welcome; but no country is in need to 10000 uneducated and incompatible people, who just come to sit and receive with the wish for a better life. It is not that the western world has no uneducated, poor or anti-social people. there are, and there are too many already, giving no extra room for illegal invasion.
8. Restoring Community Safety Act. Reduces surging crime, drugs and violence by creating a Task Force On Violent Crime and increasing funding for programs that train and assist local police; increases resources for federal law enforcement agencies and federal prosecutors to dismantle criminal gangs and put violent offenders behind bars.
The training an equipping of security forces is important. Too often are officers overwhelmed with the situation they meet. In Europe we can observe situations where police even run away from the scene or don't dare to enter a certain area. The US may be experiencing similar issues.
9. Restoring National Security Act. Rebuilds our military by eliminating the defence sequester and expanding military investment; provides Veterans with the ability to receive public VA treatment or attend the private doctor of their choice; protects our vital infrastructure from cyber attack; establishes new screening procedures for immigration to ensure those who are admitted to our country support our people and our values.
Supporting the countries values shouldn't even be a topic, but Leftist governments were successful in bringing them down. Europe is going through the same thing in regards to the Islamic uncontrolled fake refugee influx, and even worse, in regards to the military, the EU doesn't even have a functioning military, big enough to defend its borders.
Frontex is the agency of the European Union, that manages the cooperation between national border guards that is undertaken to secure the external borders of the union, including from illegal immigration, human trafficking and terrorist infiltration. The European society sees basically about them. Frontex seems to only exist on paper.
What the US is going to do now, is a natural consequence out of what has developed in the past. On a small scale, its Hungary, with its actions of fencing the country, in the mid of Europe.
10. Clean up Corruption in Washington Act. Enacts new ethics reforms to Drain the Swamp and reduce the corrupting influence of special interests on our politics.
Corruption is often set equal with the so called third world, but corruption is a phenomena of the entire world. Maybe the first world has developed a more sophisticated way of corruption, but never the less, it is corruption. Money from corruption is missing in the countries pocket, to develop accordingly. So who on earth would oppose this step, if not involved in the practice of corruption.
On November 5 Donald Trump stated: “At the centre of my contract is my plan to end government corruption,” the real estate mogul said. “Hillary Clinton is the most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency of the United States, and if she were to win it would create a constitutional crisis like no other.
“She’s under multiple federal investigations, has committed many crimes, including perjury, and she’s now facing the prospect of a federal indictment,” he added.
All in all, Donald Trump as many good and healthy ideas, and some are bad. But under a Hillary Clinton, we may have experienced a disaster, specially in regards to Russia, Syria, Europe and World Peace. We have often heard that this election was about picking the best of the two bad choices. Trump may have a bad mouth, a foul way of speaking and a non political attitude. But labelling him bad because he is not main stream, has no leftist agendas, and talks with the tongue of an ordinary man, is too simple and one sided.
In the western world, all over we are observing a shift away from the establishment and the Leftist agenda. There is a reason for that; and the reason is surely not stupidity. It is a natural reaction from the voters, that are slowly seeing through reality happening. Of course not all positions of the Left are bad, as well as not all positions from the right are good. But it has become unfair and unequal. To put it simple: The western world has differentiated the Left and Right into Good and Bad, Fascist or Moderate, Dangerous and healing, criminal and legal, threatening and comforting. These are all made up labels.
The LGBT community may now say that it misses them in the 100 day agenda. Well, in regards to the LGBT policy, Obama has done what was needed to be done. And what he did for the LGBT community was good and important. Matters went to the Supreme Court, and the constitution changed. Job done!
Yet this new era has new priorities, and these priorities are maybe more important. Islam, on the longer run, is more destructive for LGBT rights than a temporal Republican President. What does the LGBT community want more? We may have to admit, that world peace and the defence of a countries values, is more important at this time. What the Leftist LGBT community is doing in Europe is basically marching in a loud, cheerful and colourful parade towards its destruction. Do they really think that smiling in gown and rainbow flag, next to a still small Muslim community, will solve the problems ahead? Will make Islam tolerant or better accepting? They should try to act and live the same way in Saudi, Qatar, Iran or Brunei. The difference is, that the consequence is just days away, and in Europe still decades... The consequence of the rope.
Christopher Hitchens once said: Don't pay for the rope that will choke you!
And illegal Islamic uncontrolled migration is costing Europe not millions but billions of Euro.
From a man like Trump we should expect action, and not just talk, as we get day in day out from the 'political correct'.
The 45th President of the US was elected by a majority; we can't label them all idiots and bad people. We also know that during campaigns, the candidates cook hotter than how its eaten later. However, a unique outcome deserves a chance to prove better. Lets let the first 100 days speak; rather action!
