Closing boarders is not a sign of inhumanity
Since decades Europe is witnessing a slowly and steady increase of the Muslim community. At first they came as "guest workers", later as family reunification, and finally as refugees. Failed immigration policy in Europe, yet in silent agreement with the Muslim communities, made sure that Muslims settled and grew in ghetto like conditions, building up their own shops, community establishments and what ever it needs to run a sub-community. Many didn't even bother to learn the language of the host country, children of Muslim parents often don't even reach high school or university level. Unemployment is high within the Muslim youth; hence an "ideal" group for radicalization. An estimated 40% of Muslim youth in France and 50% in Germany are unemployed, and for example, about 40% of welfare expensis in Denmark go to the 5% Muslim population. (Bruce Bawer, While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam Is Destroying the West from Within, page 30). According to Otto Schily, former German interior minister, speaking about immigrants in general: “Seventy percent of the newcomers since 2002 depend on welfare from the day of their arrival.”
There are Muslims interpret the payment of social benefits as a form of jiziya, the poll tax traditionally paid in Islamic societies by non-Muslim peoples as a sign of their submission to Islamic rule, something we can observe with ISIS now, where Christians may survive if paying such tax. So, not only are the social benefits are seen as a right for Muslim recipients, even they are in the minority in Europe, but they reflect what is embedded in the "sharia". Draining the government’s social welfare system could be seen as a contribution to "jihad" (Melanie Hall, “Muslim preacher urges followers to claim ‘Jihad Seeker’s Allowance.’” The Telegraph, Feb. 17, 2013).
Muslim hot spots, even nowadays 'no go zones" have an disproportional percentage of Muslims compared to the native citizens. For Islam, Allah, Muhammad and the Koran stand above any federal or national law, making integration difficult and assimilation impossible. Many demanded special rights show how nearly impossible it is to create a healthy mix of Muslims an non Muslims. Examples like the rejection of inter faith marriages, not allowing school girls share the swimming pool with boys, hence abstain school swimming lessons, separation of gender, the demand for different food, dress codes and so on.
Belgium it admittedly not in the state to observe the entire Muslim community, and France has around 5000 to 8000 names of people who are defined as dangerous. At least and only one of the assassins of Friday, the Frenchman Omar Ismail Mostefai was known to the intelligence services because of his radicalization. How he and his at least six accomplices could succeed to procure secretly Kalashnikovs and explosive belts, is one of the central questions of the investigation, and will be one of the key questions whether the intelligence services could have prevented the attacks. The bigger the group of Islamic people in each western country, the more difficult it is to control them, specially because many of them don't obey national law. The open boarder dictate of Merkel and the EU will worsen this even more, as there will be an endless influx of Muslims, who are willing to destroy European values and impose Islam.
Closing European borders is not a sign of inhumanity, but a sign of humanity towards its own people, the protection of Europe's values and sovereignty. We all know that more than 80 percent of the migrants are Muslim men, and many are not even from Syria, but from the Balkan and West Africa, countries that have no right for asylum. The people coming from Turkey are also no longer refugees, as they leave a safe ground for an economical better life in Europe, or to join the ones who want to bring Europe down. Merkels statement, that Germany cant protect its 3000 km borders, is already a nail in the coffin. This entire crisis does not place Europe into a position of not wanting to help, but help has to be given to the countries they come from. Islam belongs to the middle East, and thats where the battle is, between the tribes and the different Islamic groups. The US has bitterly failed, wanting to bring democracy to the Middle East, because Islam does not cherish democracy. The intention of the US to bring down Assad is the same mistake when Ghadafi was eliminated. As what is worse than a dictatorship? Chaos! Assad is the legitimate president of Syria, a president that next to being called "the butcher" yet assured secularism and peace. Russia's fight against ISIS and strengthening Assad is the only way to bring back peace in Syria and then let the Syrian people decide what to do next; like hold elections. It seems, that kind of transition is slowly falling on fertile grounds, even in the US now.
Europe cannot save the world, and there is a limit to humanism, specially towards the ones who honor different values. Europe has to make a decision on where to set priorities. It can set the priority on an influx of people who will destroy what Europe stands for, or it can prioritize its own nations and people.
Closing borders doesn't mean that there is no more immigration, but it must be in Europe's hand to decide who to let in or who not; other countries are also doing that, and are not criticized for such.
If Europe wants to remain strong and secure, it needs to help at the roots of this crisis, and that is to assure that the Syrian people can soon return to their country and rebuild their nation, and not allowing Islam endlessly into Europe rebuilding the European nation, resulting in the abolishment of Europe.
